An ultrasound confirmed the pregnancy. The meeting of Tola MERCEDES Łąckie Splendorki and Fluor FADO Sabio Perro has borne fruit. The puppies will be born in the first half of March.
We will soon be breeding our Tola MERCEDES Łąckie Splendorki with Fluor FADO Sabio Perro.

Both barbets are healthy and have great personalities. Our Tola is the mother of the litter H and the litter P. Fluor will become a father for the first time. He is a wonderful dog who has already proven himself in dog therapy and water rescue, and his greatest joy is tracking. Both dogs live in families and enjoy the company of children and other animals.

The spring, full of excitement and experiences, is packed with beautiful events. Litter P celebrated its first birthday on 21 April, our Coco POLARIS has grown up, still inquisitive and more beautiful every day.
In April, at the Club Show of Spaniels and Water Dogs and at the National Show of Hunting Dogs in Wroclaw, HUNTER, son of our Hans and Tola, won the Club Winner, CAC, BOS, excellent grades and gold medals. Thus he achieved the title of Champion of Poland. Well done barbet boy!!! He is already a sire and at the beginning of June he became the father of eight wonderful puppies in the Sabio Perro breeding.
Our next joy is DIEGO Sabio Perro, son of our MORIS and thus grandson of FRIDA. At the end of April at the International Dog Show in Bydgoszcz he won Best of Breed, BOB, CAC, CACIB, gold medal, excellent grade. And in May, at the National Hunting Dog Show and the National Breed Dog Show in Manowo, he won twice Best of Breed, BOB, CAC, gold medal and excellent grade and.... won the title Group VIII Winner with I place on the Hunting Dogs Show and Group VIII Winner with IV place on the National Show of Groups 2,5,7,8 and 9. And this is another Champion of Poland. Well done barbet boy!!!

I have a feeling that time is passing faster and faster. Our youngest Barbet children are happily growing up in their new families, and Coco POLARIS has stayed with us. Always happy, they are eager to play and learn.
On 24 September our oldest barbet ABAYA turned 13 years old; we are happy she is with us - may she stay with us as long as possible. In October HEIDI received the title of Polish Champion at the show in Twardy Dół, and on 16 November she and the whole H litter celebrated their 3rd birthday. So many shared moments with the Barbets behind us, how many more to come.... Sometimes we are overwhelmed by melancholy, in moments when, together with friends, we recall the exceptional behaviour of our barbets. And so one I think is worth describing: Hans FIGARO - an exceptional dog.
I have already written about his tracking skills, this time he showed his cleverness and courage as an exceptional swimmer. During the summer meeting with Carmel FRODO and his family, all the barbets eagerly jumped into the lake, fetched from the water and played happily in the meadow. While jumping into the lake, Frida lost her fetch. Terrified, I called out that she must have lost her direction and was swimming deeper into the lake. It was seconds of wondering whether to get in the boat and swim to her or...? And at that moment we noticed that Hans had made a decision on his own, he swam towards her. When he approached her, he led her towards the shore. We were full of joy and pride in our Hans. This is how, to this day, this wonderful dog feels to be the responsible guardian of our entire pack.
